Flip / Mirror
Understanding Flip and Mirror
Turns your design left-to-right, like looking in a mirror.
Turns your design upside-down, top-to-bottom.
Left-to-Right flip is the one most commonly used for sublimation. Your image is pressed face-down, so it needs to be mirrored.
Top-to-Bottom flip is available when needed for specialty layouts, but most projects only need the Left-to-Right flip.
Before You Print — Important Reminders
Print at 100% scale (Actual Size)
Do not let your printer shrink the image to “Fit to Page.” This is the number one beginner mistake. Look for “Actual Size” or “100%” in your print settings.
Mirror before printing when needed
For sublimation, your image is pressed face-down onto the product, so it needs to be flipped left-to-right. Use the “Flip Left to Right” button above.
Test with plain paper first
Print your layout on regular paper and hold it up to your blank product. Check size and placement before using expensive sublimation paper.
